I have started listing my new designs. I have tried to take my designs into a new direction. Jewelry you can where that isn't over powering. But something that is feminine, simple, and that you can wear everyday. I still have several more pieces to list and will do so over the next several weeks. This being Thanksgiving week I'll be spending most of my time with my family. We are expecting about 20 people for dinner thursday, and I am excited as this is the first dinner we have hosted for quite a while.

I hope everyone has a very happy Thanksgiving day. And that we all remember those people who have come into our lives who have blessed us. And always remember and help those who have no one to share this Thanksgiving and Christmas season with. Invite a forgotten soul into your home so that you may bless them. These are some of my favorite earrings. They are made of sterling silver hoops, 3-4mm white freshwater pearls, and gold filled wire. I love the look of mixing wires. It kinda gives it a 3 dimentional look. Don't you think. These would be great for a wedding. But don't let your imagination stop there.

My new grandson

I did promise I would post a pic of my new grandbaby when he was born. Here ya go.

He is 8 months old now and a big boy too. I love being a grandma. :-)

I have joined CWJ's Year of Jewelry 2009. This past weeks challenge was art by Katsushika Hokusai. I had a hard time coming up with something to do, even after looking up his artwork online, until my daughter brought over a branch of plum flowers. I started out making earrings, but the wire wouldn't go through the other briolette, so I made a pendant. I posted it on CWJ, and have now also posted it on my etsy shop. Here is the link-

Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's Day. I have put a few new designs up in my shop, and more will come.

My dd only has a few more weeks till their baby is born. (Big Grandma Grin :-)) ) I went with her to her last appt and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. I was thrilled. This will be my/our first grandchild, and my parents first great grandchild. We are all excited. My soninlaw's mother and I will be there when the baby is born. I'll see about posting a picture of our new addition when he arrives.
