My favorite things to work with when making jewelry is pearls and vintage findings/jewelry. To me a handknotted pearl necklace is feminine and makes me feel pretty. What girl doesn't want to feel pretty, hm?
My oldest dd and her dh are expecting their first child this Feb. My dh and I are very excited about having our first grandchild. And our other children are really excited about being aunts and uncles. I just think they want a new baby in the family. lol.
My oldest son is in the Army and is now serving in South Korea. We worry about him, but are also very proud of him.
My other 5 children are all growing and happy. We laugh a lot, tease, play games, and love each other. We are not the perfect family. But we are happy. And I think that counts for a lot.
My greatest wish is that everyone has a very merry Christmas. And please remember those who don't have, or are in circumstances that they aren't able to have what they need. The best Christmas present we can give our family is the opportunity to serve others. No other feeling can replace it. Remember the reason for this holiday season.
